Acceptable Use Policy

Driveway is a documentation tool for licensed clinicians and the assistants they supervise. Using it means agreeing to the rules below, which exist to protect the people you serve.

You agree to

• Obtain recording consent before each visit where the law or your program requires it, using the wording Driveway provides for your state or your own.
• Review every note before it enters a record. Driveway writes a draft; you are the author of the note you sign.
• Enter clients by initials and an optional nickname only. Do not enter full names, addresses, or identifiers.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself. Each clinician uses their own account, including on Team plans.

You agree not to

• Record anyone who has declined, or record conversations unrelated to the visit.
• Use Driveway for anything other than documentation of services you provide.
• Attempt to access another account, probe the service, or interfere with other clinicians’ use.
• Resell access or share notes outside the record they belong to.

Enforcement

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. We will tell you why, and you can export your notes first unless the law prevents it.
